Job summary

Edgewater Golf Club in Lancaster, SC is seeking a part-time Line Cook to support the Chef/Kitchen Manager and prepare foods for all outlets on the property. Qualifications

• 1-2 years of cooking experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in maintaining a safe working environment
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
• Dependable and reliable
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work well in a team
• Able to take direction

Responsibilities

• Assumes 100% responsibility for the quality of products served
• Assists Chef/Kitchen Manager with set-up and preparation of food items for all outlets on the property
• Follows standard recipes when preparing items
• Conducts inventory of food and supplies monthly
• Maintains proper use and cleaning of equipment
• Cleans and sanitizes food prep and storage areas
• Transfers clean dishes and maintains proper storage
• Disposes and handles dishwater and waste properly
• Distributes food and supplies to outlets
• Complies with Health Department regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned
