Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service and team-based experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and Windows.
• Dewey Decimal System or Integrated Library Systems helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patrons and connect them with resources and services.
• Assist with library cards, check-in/check-out, holds, payments, and account questions.
• Help patrons locate materials and provide reader recommendations.
• Provide basic technology assistance and troubleshooting.
• Create, promote, and present programs for library patrons.
• Help organize, shelve, and process library materials.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Participate in library-wide and community events.
• Occasionally support at another HMMPL location or community event.
