Job summary

Brightpoint Community College is seeking a Part-Time Library Assistant to support students, faculty and staff at the Chesterfield campus. You will staff the information desk, respond to patron inquiries, and help with library resources and equipment.

You will assist with interlibrary loans, student orientation and library promotions, with day and evening hours as needed. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a tech-enabled environment.

Responsibilities

• Staff the information desk in-person and virtually.
• Respond to patron queries using library resources and databases.
• Navigate common software platforms and troubleshoot computers/equipment.
• Process interlibrary loans and manage basic circulation tasks.
• Assist with student orientation and library engagement activities.
• Support library promotional activities and events.
