Job summary

Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library seeks a PT Library Customer Adviser at Bond Hill Branch to deliver direct customer service, support circulation, reference, and technology assistance. • Lift up to 50 pounds and push carts up to 150 pounds.
• Evening and weekend hours required.

Responsibilities

• Circulates materials to customers, checks in/out, processes holds and collects fees.
• Assists customers with various technologies.
• Shelves returned materials and searches for requested items.
• Performs readers' advisory and reference services.
• Supports desk set up, bookdrop, delivery, and ILS reports.
• Assists with collection maintenance and displays.
• Refers issues to managers and deposits money from fees.
• Serves as person-in-charge in the absence of leadership.
• Interprets library policies for the public in a customer-friendly way.
