Qualifications

• Ability to provide friendly, accurate customer service.
• Ability to arrange materials in alphabetical and numerical order.
• Ability to work independently and with coworkers.
• Comfort with using library technology and devices.
• Lifts up to 50 pounds and pushes carts up to 150 pounds.
• Working evenings and weekends is required.

Responsibilities

• Circulates materials, checks in/out, processes holds, registers customers, and collects fees.
• Assists customers with technology and reference requests.
• Shelves and maintains materials in order.
• Performs readers’ advisory and reference services.
• Participates in desk setup, bookdrop, and interagency requests.
