Job summary

Pueblo City-County Library District is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative (CSR) to work 20 hours per week at the Rawlings library in the User Services department.

The CSR will create a welcoming, efficient experience for library customers, proactively meeting their needs and promoting library resources and services. This role supports the library's mission to inspire learning and discovery and requires flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; college coursework preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to instruct customers on library resources and digital devices.
• Able to work a flexible part-time schedule, including days, evenings and weekends.
• Familiarity with library policies and privacy expectations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with locating materials and reference questions.
• Promote library programs and resources to patrons.
• Explain policies and procedures clearly.
• Assist with computer and e-resource use; guide on databases.
• Maintain accurate records and reports as needed.
• Support safety and a welcoming environment.
