The Tulsa City-County Library invites applications for a part-time Customer Service Assistant at the Herman and Kate Kaiser Library in LaFortune Park. You will help customers navigate services, assist with checkouts, and support technology access in a welcoming space.
This role requires a high school diploma or GED, some college coursework preferred, and prior customer service experience is a plus. Schedule: Monday–Friday 10am–2pm, 20 hours per week.

Herman and Kate Kaiser Library , located in LaFortune Park, has an opening for a part-time Customer Service Assistant . The Customer Service Assistant helps customers navigate library services, and ensures our spaces are organized, inviting, and accessible. Whether you're assisting with checkouts, guiding users through technology, or supporting library programs, your work will make a meaningful impact every day.
Featuring an inviting children’s area with window seat, dragonfly inlays in the flooring, a fireplace for cozy reading and large windows with views of the surrounding park, the Herman and Kate Kaiser Library offers a warm and welcome space to the neighborhoods around LaFortune Park and Memorial High School.
Salary:$14.42 / hour
Status: Part-Time, 20 hours / week
Monday- Friday 10am - 2pm
Rotating Saturdays: 1-5
Occasional Sundays: 1-5 (at a Regional Library)

For most positions work regularly requires stooping, bending and light lifting such as three or four reams of paper, four or five books, or other materials (up to 20 pounds). Some positions require moderate physical exertion, such as regularly lifting moderately heavy items (up to 40 pounds) such as crates full of books or pushing heavy (up to 100 pounds) wheeled carts full of books, on a highly frequent basis and/or assuming awkward positions.
