Job summary

Greene County Public Library in Fairborn seeks a Circulation Clerk for the Fairborn Community Library. This part-time role includes 20 hours per week with daytime, evening, and weekend shifts.

You will check items in/out, collect fines, and help patrons while maintaining high service standards. You will also sort materials, process holds and registrations, assist with donations, and support opening/closing procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of Customer Service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check out and check in materials using computerized system.
• Sort materials for shelving and assist patrons with questions.
• Oversee circulation hold shelf and process renewals and fines.
• Process new materials and donations; handle damaged items.
• Assist patrons in finding books and materials; attend trainings.
