Job summary

Greystar in San Jose is seeking a part-time Leasing Associate to coordinate the community's marketing, leasing, and renewal activities, with emphasis on attracting new residents and maintaining occupancy. This role requires 1–2 years of sales experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage prospects, tour properties, process applications, and support lease renewals.

On-site duties include showing apartments, coordinating with maintenance, and using OneSite or Yardi to track

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of sales or leasing experience.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Performs all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting community tours and showing apartments, processing applications, credit screening, and lease signing.
• Inspects apartments prior to move-in and coordinates maintenance for any repairs.
• Monitors market conditions and implements short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Designs and executes marketing activities to create traffic using Craigslist, Facebook, email, and other websites.
• Uses on-site software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, traffic, and leasing data.
• Ensures show units meet company standards by inspecting showings and coordinating maintenance needs.
• Follows up with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction and drive renewals.
• Supports lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters and coordinating with renewing residents.
