Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Agent to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for a 342-unit community in San Jose. You will conduct tours, process applications, screen credit and background checks, prepare lease documents, and ensure a smooth move-in process.

This role requires 1–2 years of sales/customer service experience, excellent communication, and strong organization. Weekend work is required; incentives and bonuses may apply based on performance.

Qualifications

• Highly organized, professional, and reliable, with the ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tours and show apartments; process applications; perform credit and background checks; prepare lease documents and move-in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move-in and coordinate with maintenance for any items.
• Develop and implement marketing plans to sustain occupancy and revenue.
• Create marketing traffic through online tools and local outreach programs.
• Use property management software to track availability, traffic, and resident data.
• Ensure show units meet company standards and prepare leasing office for daily activities.
• Follow up with prospects and new residents to finalize lease or renewal decisions.
• Support lease renewal processes by preparing renewal letters and packages.
• Respond promptly to resident or owner questions and solve problems.
