Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Specialist to coordinate the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies, driving occupancy and resident satisfaction from application to renewal. The role involves on-site leasing activities, showing apartments, processing applications, and ensuring move-in readiness while collaborating with maintenance.

Qualifications

• Incumbents must have all licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the community’s leasing and renewal activities to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours and show apartments, process applications, and complete lease and move-in packages.
• Perform credit screening and background checks; ensure units are move-in ready and address maintenance items with the team.
• Develop and implement marketing plans to sustain occupancy and drive traffic to the community.
• Use on-site property management software to track availability, leasing activities, and resident data.
• Support lease renewals by preparing renewal letters, contacting renewing residents, and ensuring signed documents.
