Dollar General is seeking a dedicated Cashier/Stocker Lead to operate the front end, assist customers, and lead in the absence of store management. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, maintain plan-o-grams, and ensure a clean, safe shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient cash handling and basic math for transactions and deposits.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including accountability and deposits.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions.
• Familiarity with safety policies and procedures in a store environment.
• Effective interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Understanding of plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks following store procedures.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes per process.
• Stock, rotate, face, and display merchandise.
• Restock returned and recovered items.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Help customers locate merchandise and answer questions.
• Maintain clean store areas and end caps; manage bagging and cashier area.
• Operate cash register, total purchases and provide change.
• Open/close store as directed by Area Manager; handle refunds and overrides.
• Maintain cashier accountability and cash control procedures.
