Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker with leadership responsibilities in the absence of store management. You will unload trucks, stock, greet customers, and operate the register to complete sales while ensuring a clean, organized store.

Role emphasizes customer service leadership, adherence to SOPs, and the ability to manage cash and store operations when managers are not on duty.

Formación

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Effective interpersonal and oral & written communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks according to the prescribed process for the store.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes following store procedures.
• Stock merchandise; rotate and face items on shelves and build displays.
• Restock returned and recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Greet customers as they enter the store.
• Operate cash register and flatbed scanner to itemize and total purchases; bag items.
• Collect payment and make change for customers.
• Keep front end clean and assist with window/sidewalk displays.
• Maintain a clean, safe, well-organized store environment.
