Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Attending Physician to oversee primary medical care for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities.

The role includes leading a small team with a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, coordinating patient care and ensuring high standards of clinical practice. You will provide patient rounds, manage acute illnesses and chronic conditions, discuss treatment plans with residents and families, and maintain compliant medical records in a collaborative LTC

Qualifications

• A board-certified physician with experience in primary care and long-term care (LTC).
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively support and mentor NPs and PAs in delivering care.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary care provider for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), taking responsibility for their medical management
• Conduct patient rounds, collaborating with NPs and PAs to assess and manage resident care
• Diagnose and treat patients with acute illnesses while overseeing the management of ongoing medical conditions
• Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with residents and their families
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations
• Work closely with nurses, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care
