Qualifications

• Board-certified physician with primary care and long-term care (LTC) experience.
• Strong leadership to mentor NPs and PAs in delivering care.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and navigate multi-level facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical care for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs).
• Conduct patient rounds with NPs/PAs to assess and manage resident care.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses while overseeing chronic conditions.
• Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care with residents and families.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care.
