Job summary

Oak View Group in Greenville, SC is seeking a part-time Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef across main, grill, and banquet kitchen operations. You will help with ordering, scheduling, sanitation, staff development, and performance reviews while upholding quality and service standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience as a lead line cook or kitchen supervisor is preferred.
• Culinary training preferred.
• Health & sanitation card or certification.
• Ability to communicate and follow instructions.
• Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for proper preparation, quality, portion size, and presentation of daily specials, salads, entrees, etc.
• Train, supervise, and oversee kitchen staff as needed.
• Assist in ordering, receiving, and rotation of food and kitchen goods.
• Help in scheduling and coordinate kitchen operations and line setups.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
