Job summary

Qualifications

• Professional training through culinary education or working in a fast-paced fine dining restaurant/catering facility is required.
• 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a kitchen is required.
• Able to operate standard kitchen equipment including broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer and chef knife.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the work of kitchen staff.
• Demonstrate culinary preparation skills and teach proper food preparation and presentation.
• Assist in controlling food and labor costs.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance meet company standards through regular inspections.
• Assist with monthly inventory.
• Provide high-quality, fresh food in a timely manner for guest delivery.
• Prepare hot and cold foods following recipes and portioning requirements.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and Sous Chef to plan menus and estimate food consumption.
