Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a part-time Steward in North Charleston, South Carolina. You’ll support food service by keeping back-of-house areas clean, sanitized, and organized, handling warewashing, equipment care, and overall kitchen cleanliness to support events and daily operations.

You will work under supervision, with varying shifts and open availability preferred. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and prior stewarding or sanitation experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in stewarding, sanitation, or food service support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support opening and closing sanitation procedures for food service areas.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of back-of-house areas.
• Handle waste, recycling, and grease removal per procedures.
• Clean floors and surfaces to meet safety standards.
• Lift up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
• Be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts.
• Other duties as assigned per location.
