Job summary

The Lowline Hotel in Charleston, SC is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Steward to join our hospitality team. You will help maintain cleanliness, proper storage of china, glassware, and utensils, and support kitchen operations in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards in food service.
• Team player with the ability to follow instructions and work weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of all china, glassware, and silverware.
• Assist kitchen staff in maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, storage areas, and equipment.
• Clean and sanitize utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment regularly.
• Support proper food storage and rotation to ensure freshness and safety.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times.
• Assist with inventory management and report damaged or missing items.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
