Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Steward to support food service operations at the Atlantic Union Bank Convention Center. This part-time role focuses on sanitation, warewashing, equipment care, and overall cleanliness of back-of-house areas, supporting restaurants, banquets, and catering operations.

Responsibilities include sanitation procedures, organization of equipment and supplies, waste handling, and maintaining safe, clean work spaces. Strong reliability and willingness to work varying shifts are valued.

Qualifications

• Sanitation and safety practices in back-of-house areas.
• Experience in stewarding or related food service support roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support opening and closing sanitation procedures for food service areas.
• Assist with organization and proper storage of equipment, supplies, and service ware.
• Handle waste, recycling, and grease removal in accordance with procedures.
• Maintain floors, drains, and work surfaces to meet cleanliness and safety standards.
• Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
• Attend shifts on time with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned based on business needs.
