Job summary

Family Dollar in Dublin, GA is seeking a part-time sales associate to deliver friendly customer service, assist with merchandise selection and stocking, and process transactions at the POS. You will support store operations and help the Store Manager with daily activities.

You will open/close duties when needed, maintain inventory, assist unloading deliveries, and promote promotional items to boost sales while keeping the store clean and welcoming.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with the team.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection and location, and efficiently complete sales transactions.
• Maintain inventory and stock shelves; assist in unloading deliveries and transferring merchandise from stockroom to store.
• Open or close the store in the absence of the Store Manager; provide operational assistance to cashiers and ensure cash deposits/receipts are handled properly.
• Promote promotional items and suggest add-on items to increase basket size and store sales.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming for internal and external customers.
