Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a part-time associate to greet customers, assist with merchandise, and complete sales transactions. You will support store operations, maintain inventory, and help with opening/closing when needed. The role emphasizes customer service, accuracy in cash handling, and maintaining store appearance.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation
• Ability to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• May lift up to 40 lbs (up to 55 lbs occasionally) and stand/walk frequently.

Responsibilities

• Guide team on Family Dollar practices and procedures.
• Greet and assist customers; resolve inquiries.
• Balance customer funds and process POS transactions.
• Unload deliveries, stock shelves, and maintain a clean store.
• Support opening/closing in the manager's absence.
• Complete required training on time.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
