Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a part-time team member to deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products, and complete sales at the register. You will support daily store operations, assist with inventory and replenishment, and help maintain a clean, organized shopping environment.

Typical duties include opening/closing in the absence of store leadership, assisting with deliveries, and upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting with merchandise selection.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system and handle customer funds.
• Open or close store in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager and oversee store conditions.
• Support store operations including inventory, deliveries, replenishment and store cleanliness.
• Assist in unloading merchandise, stocking shelves, and transferring merchandise from stockroom to store.
