Job summary

Family Dollar in Americus, GA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, and complete sales transactions efficiently.

You will support store operations, help maintain inventory, assist deliveries and replenishment, and step in for store management duties as needed while upholding a welcoming store image and strong customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.
• Availability: Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection and location.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Assist Store Manager with daily activities and inventory control.
• Assist in unloading merchandise, stocking shelves and transferring stock from stockroom.
• Open or close store in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Follow all Company Policies and Procedures.
