Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a part-time Key Holder to elevate customer service, lead by example, and assist with store operations. The role focuses on selling, product knowledge, and maintaining visual standards while supporting leadership to meet sales goals.

You will partner with the team on daily activities, uphold policy standards, and ensure a positive customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, time management and organization skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 10% travel to support local stores.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Become an expert in product categories; communicate product knowledge to customers.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals (UPT, ADT, add-ons, capture rates).
• Be informed of current promotions and advertisements.
• Maintain merchandising standards and assist with floor moves, displays, and housekeeping.
• Assist with processing merchandise and replenish floor stock.
• Complete sales transactions accurately at POS and manage cash/media accountability.
• Develop skills and improve metrics with store leadership.
• Complete opening/closing procedures and comply with Time and Attendance policies.
