Job summary

Hands of Heartland is seeking a dependable Job Coach to work with individuals with developmental disabilities in Council Bluffs, IA.

You will support on-the-job training, communicate with employers professionally, and help create natural supports on the job. Hours are flexible, including some evenings and weekends, with starting pay of $18.50/hour and higher rates for CNA license or experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass all background checks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred although not required. We will train you!

Responsibilities

• Work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities in various job settings to ensure meaningful employment.
• As a Job Coach you will assist individuals on the job and communicate with employers professionally.
• Collaborate with employers to create natural supports on the job and provide training.
• Advocate for the individual on work-related issues.
