Job summary

The HT Group is seeking a customer-focused IT Support Specialist in Durham, NC to provide in-person and remote assistance within a global organization. The role involves supporting a blended macOS and Windows environment, device management, account administration, and productivity tool support.

You will work with a small IT team, handle tickets via Jira, assist with Google Workspace optimization and Azure SSO, and help with office networks and conference room tech.

Qualifications

1–2 years IT support or desktop support experience, or internship-equivalent for new grads.
Experience supporting macOS and Windows devices; strong Mac troubleshooting is a plus.
Familiarity with AD user creation, group management, and access administration.

Responsibilities

Provide front-line technical support in person and remotely to employees, including executives.
Triage, document, and resolve tickets via Jira and other channels; U.S. team handles 40–60 tickets/day.
Configure and maintain Mac/Windows computers; assist with Linux as needed.
Support device enrollment with Jamf and Intune; manage user accounts and access.
Assist with Google Workspace consolidation and continued use of Microsoft 365 and Azure SSO.
Troubleshoot Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, and Zoom issues.
Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, asset tracking, and office tech readiness.
Maintain network and conference room tech; support Zoom Rooms and A/V equipment.
Collaborate with global IT and other departments on projects and migrations.
