Job summary

RiverWoods in Durham, NH is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician to join the Information Technology team. This full-time, on-site role supports a multi-location campus and helps residents and staff with technical issues across Windows, Mac, phones, and more.

You will handle end-user requests, document resolutions, assist with onboarding, and participate in IT On-Call rotations. The ideal candidate has 0–2 years in IT support, strong communication, and familiarity with Office 365 and Active

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of IT support experience.
• Experience with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows desktop/laptop hardware and software.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and other productivity software.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Office 365.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Field incoming service requests from end users via ticketing system, telephone or walk-up in a courteous manner.
• Prioritize and schedule tasks. Escalate problems to the appropriate resource.
• Build rapport and elicit problem details from employees of varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Record, track, and document the help desk process through final resolution.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, account, and peripheral issues.
• Set up complete computer systems for new employees, from image to desk.
• Provide support for mixed platform environment: Win11, Win10, Mac OS, Android, iOS, tablets, laptops, desktops and phone system.
• Support Audio/Video for meetings and company events.
• Train end users on software and various applications and hardware.
• Participate in IT On-Call rotation.
