Job summary

Headwaters School in Austin, TX seeks a part-time IT Support Specialist for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role is 20 hours per week, with an immediate start, at an hourly rate of $25.00, reporting to the Director of Technology.

The position supports three campuses and requires strong customer service throughout the school community. You will troubleshoot Mac and PC hardware and software, manage accounts, ensure data integrity, and help expand technology use across the K-12 curriculum, while

Qualifications

BA/BS degree or equivalent required.
Experience in Helpdesk or IT support.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Willingness to travel to multiple campuses.

Responsibilities

Provide Mac and PC support for administration, faculty, staff, students, and parents across 3 campuses.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues including projectors, printers, phones, and door locks.
Provision user accounts and manage passwords.
Assist in ensuring data integrity across systems and databases.
Support integration of technology across the K-12 curriculum.
Maintain IT inventory, database, and school website.
Recommend ways to keep the school technologically current.
Enforce IT standards and policies.
