Job summary

Osseo Education Center in Osseo, Minnesota is seeking an Educational Support Professional to assist teaching staff and students with instructional support in the classroom.

The role requires working closely with the special education program, implementing individual plans, collecting data, and supporting student learning in various settings. The position is part-time with a 6-hour day schedule, 5 days per week, starting 10/12/2026.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants must be Highly Qualified via two years of college study or an AA/AS degree.
• Passing score on ParaPro, ParaEducator, or ParaPathwaysAssessment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing students' special education instructional plans including functional academic and vocational skills, social-emotional needs, and behavior management.
• Assist in implementing and following through of individual plans in all program settings including community sites.
• Collect observational data and report to supervising teacher.
• Assist in preparation, collection and maintenance of educational materials and equipment.
• Attend staffings, conferences and other meetings as requested by site administrator; complete forms and data relevant to individual students.
• Supervise students in large group or small group settings.
• Work with students individually or in small groups.
• Perform classroom protocol-related tasks.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the team and site administrator.

Education

Two years of study at an institution of higher education; 60 semester credits

Associate's degree; AA/AS degree

ParaPro/ParaEducator/ParaPathwaysAssessment passing score
