Job summary

Osseo Senior High is seeking a Special Education (Resource) teacher for a 0.5 FTE position starting August 31, 2026. The role involves delivering instruction, developing IEP-based goals, and coordinating with families while maintaining classroom management and district policy adherence.

The candidate must hold a MN teaching license in ABS or a valid MN license in another field with Out of Field Permission or be eligible for Tier 1 or 2 licensing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• MN teaching license in appropriate field (ABS), OR a valid MN teaching license in another field and willing to obtain an Out of Field Permission.
• If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and support in specified curriculum areas and programs.
• Write and implement individual goals and objectives per IEP; evaluate progress.
• Maintain records and communications with guardians; participate in leadership activities.
