Job summary

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. (HJF) invites applications for an intermittent, part-time Instructional Designer II dedicated to the H2F Project.

You will support the full instructional design lifecycle, creating content for in-person, live, and e-learning formats while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure quality and impact. This role (about 20 hours/week) supports ARMORR and requires experience in content development, evaluation, and

Qualifications

• Instructor design and development of in-person, blended and e-learning content.
• Ability to guide development from concept to evaluation with storyboards, visuals and interactivity.
• Experience applying adult learning theory and accessibility best practices (Section 508).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Edit and proofread content (articles, infographics, slides, speaker notes, reports, scripts) without altering technical content.
• Compile, update metrics and prepare standard project reports for dissemination.
• Monitor workflows and update SOPs; communicate needs to team.
• Provide administrative support on projects.
• Engage with stakeholders to identify learning needs and gaps.
• Analyze learning needs and recommend training solutions and materials.
• Develop assessments and evaluations; deliver engaging experiences for diverse adult learners.
