Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Part-Time Cook at Rosebud Village to join our culinary team. You will prepare nutritious meals for residents, follow menus, and maintain high sanitation standards.

You will assist with food preparation, lead kitchen tasks, and ensure proper storage and safety protocols. A high school diploma or GED is required; sanitation certification is preferred and prior healthcare food service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Sanitation/safe food handling certification preferred.
• Prior institutional or healthcare service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and prepares food that meets residents’ nutritional needs.
• Cooks meals in quantities needed with palatability and nutrition.
• Leads kitchen tasks including assembling trays, cleaning, and storage of supplies.
