American Senior Communities is seeking a Cook at Rosewalk Village Lafayette to support our culinary team, preparing nutritious meals while upholding sanitation standards for residents in a day-shift role. This full-time position offers opportunities for growth and competitive wages.

We also provide a part-time option, with benefits including PTO, health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k). Prior institutional or healthcare kitchen experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 years related experience or training, or equivalent.
• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification.
• Preferred: Prior institutional and/or healthcare foodservice experience.

Responsabilités

• Follows recipes and prepares food that meets residents' nutritional needs.
• Cooks or prepares meals in required quantities and ensures palatability.
• Leads kitchen staff with food preparation, tray assembly, and storage of supplies and equipment.
• Maintains a clean food service work area during service.
• Handles, stores, and disposes of food in compliance with procedures and regulations.

Formation

High school diploma or GED

Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification (preferred)

Institutional/Healthcare foodservice experience (preferred)
