Job summary

VIVO Infusion is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for our Northern Dallas clinics. You will welcome patients, assist medical staff, and deliver compassionate care according to guidelines. The role requires clinic experience, administrative skills, and ability to travel within the Dallas area as needed.

The position is part-time, non-exempt, with a schedule Monday–Friday and Saturdays 7:30am–5:00pm. Travel to multiple clinic locations is required, and a CPR/BLS certification is required

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Medical Assistant Certification is preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required prior to start date.
• 1 year of experience in a clinical environment is required.
• 1 year of experience in administrative, patient-facing, or customer service role is required.
• Phlebotomy and lab processing skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide front-end support, scheduling, calls, and payments.
• Room patients and update charts with required information.
• Communicate patient data to providers and nurses for continuity of care.
• Assist providers and clinicians in exam rooms as needed.
• Collect, prepare, and submit lab specimens.
• Obtain prior authorizations for prescribed treatments as needed.
• Triage patient calls and document appropriately.
• Order and manage supplies under manager guidance.
