Job summary

Vivo Infusion is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join Multi Clinic Northern Dallas, TX. You will welcome patients, assist medical staff, and deliver compassionate care across multiple Dallas Fort Worth area clinics.

The role requires prior administrative experience, strong initiative, and the ability to work independently. Part-time schedule, travel to other clinics, with a comprehensive benefits package including a 401K match and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required prior to start date.
• 1 year clinical environment experience required.
• 1 year administrative or customer service experience required.
• Phlebotomy and lab processing skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care activities in accordance with standards of practice.
• Room patients in person or virtually and update the chart with required information.
• Communicate pertinent patient data to providers and nurses for continuity of care.
• Provide front-end support: greet patients, schedule, answer calls, and process payments.
• Oversee efficient turnover of exam rooms and assist providers as needed.
• Collect, prepare, and submit lab specimens as directed.
• Obtain prior authorizations for prescribed treatments and document appropriately.
• Triaged patient calls and messages; document them properly.
• Order and manage supplies; disinfect and stock exam rooms.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
