Job summary

Vivo Infusion is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for our Multi-Clinic Northern Dallas, TX operations. The role involves welcoming patients, supporting medical staff, and delivering compassionate care across Aubrey, Flower Mound, Denton, and surrounding clinics.

Travel to other Dallas Fort Worth area clinics is required. The position is part-time, non-exempt, with a schedule of Monday–Friday plus Saturdays, 7:30am–5:00pm, and reports to the Clinical Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required prior to start date.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a clinical environment required.
• 1 year in an administrative, patient-facing, or customer service role required.
• Phlebotomy and lab processing skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of patient care activities in accordance with standards of practice.
• Room clinic patients and update patient charts.
• Communicate pertinent patient data to providers and nurses.
• Provide administrative support: greet patients, scheduling, calls, payments.
• Oversee efficient turnover of exam rooms.
• Assist providers in exam rooms as needed.
• Collect, prepare, and submit ordered lab specimens.
• Assist with prior authorizations and document patient interactions.
• Triage patient calls and manage messages and records.
