Job summary

BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking a part-time, in-home Paraprofessional to provide 1:1 ABA support for children in Chandler, AZ. You’ll work afternoons and evenings with the same child, helping them build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA under supervision.

Responsibilities include implementing plans, recording progress, and collaborating with the BCBA and families to ensure consistent, meaningful progress.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (SPED para, 1:1 aide or classroom aide) and autism.
• ABA experience is a plus.
• Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus).
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with kids in their homes to support learning and growth with play-based ABA.
• Follow treatment plans created by the supervisor (BCBA).
• Track progress using a data system on mobile devices; training provided.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and fellow staff to ensure consistency.
• Give feedback to families and celebrate small wins together.
