Job summary

BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking Paraprofessionals to provide 1:1 ABA support in children's homes in Gilbert, AZ. You will help kids build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA.

You’ll work with the same children consistently during afternoon/evening hours, with training and support to meet each child where they’re at. This role offers flexible part-time hours to complement your schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
• ABA experience is a plus.
• Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus).
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with kids in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
• Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA) — we’ll show you exactly what to do for each child.
• Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet (training provided).
• Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to keep things consistent and effective.
• Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together!
