Job summary

BehaviorCare Therapy is hiring Paraprofessionals to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes in Mesa, AZ. As an RBT/BT, you’ll provide 1‑on‑1 support, helping build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play‑based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA.

This is a flexible part‑time role with hours Mon/Wed 3–5, Tue/Fri 9–11, and Thu 10–12, and pay of $21–$26/hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after‑school programs, caregiving, autism).
• ABA experience a plus.
• Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus).
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one‑on‑one with kids in their homes to help them learn and grow using play‑based ABA techniques.
• Follow simple step‑by‑step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA).
• Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet.
• Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to keep things consistent and effective.
• Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together.
