Prefer basic knowledge of human resources management gained through prior coursework or work experience.

Responsibilities

Assists with recruitment of prospective employees by posting open jobs internally and externally; preparing employment offer letters and NYS Notice and Acknowledgement of Pay Rate Forms.
Works with the HR Generalist to support and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Processes employment verification requests.
Schedules pre-employment physicals and random drug screening tests.
Coordinates company-wide events, including new hire orientations, wellness programs, and retirement plan education sessions.
Supports HR staff in assigned project-based work.
