Job summary

Mentoring Alliance in Tyler, TX seeks a part-time Human Resources Manager to strengthen recruiting, onboarding, and employee engagement. You will partner with HR leadership and hiring managers to advance culture, retention, and performance support.

You will lead recruiting strategy, own the offer and onboarding experience, improve candidate communications, support performance management, coordinate training, and advise on compensation alignment with the strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or certification in Human Resources.
• Excellent communication skills in written and verbal.
• 2+ years of high-level administrative work.
• Proven attention to detail and compliance.
• Reliable transportation with some local travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting strategy and execution aligned with organizational and regional staffing needs.
• Partner with Hiring Managers and Staffing Coordinator to maintain a consistent recruiting process.
• Own the offer process and onboarding experience by coordinating with HR Operations and Hiring Managers.
• Improve the candidate and new employee experience through clear communication and timely follow-up.
• Drive employee engagement, retention, and culture initiatives aligned with mission and values.
• Provide employee support with performance management and coaching for managers.
• Coordinate training and development to build manager and employee capability.
• Support compensation decisions and alignment with the compensation strategy.
• Consult on HR strategy, policies, compliance, HR systems, and reporting.
