Job summary

Mentoring Alliance seeks a part-time Human Resources Manager, Employee Engagement and Recruiting to advance recruiting strategy, onboarding, and employee engagement within a gospel-centered ministry.

The role partners with the Sr. Director, HR and Recruiting to support staffing needs, retention, development, and culture across MA. Strong communication, attention to detail, and compliance are essential, with local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or HR certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• 2+ years of high-level administrative work.
• Proven attention to detail and compliance.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and pace.
• Reliable transportation; some local travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting strategy and onboarding in partnership with the Sr. Director, HR and Recruiting, coordinating with Hiring Managers and Staffing Coordinator.
• Drive employee engagement, retention and culture initiatives aligned with Mentoring Alliance’s mission and values.
• Assist with performance management, development, and compensation considerations for direct reports and teams in collaboration with MA leaders.
• Provide HR guidance on policy, compliance, systems, and continuous improvement; participate in relevant committees and meetings.

Education
