Nissin Ion Equipment USA, Inc. in Billerica, MA is seeking a part-time Human Resources Generalist to work closely with the President and HR team.

The role covers payroll, benefits, HR systems, recruiting, onboarding, and compliance, with emphasis on accuracy and confidentiality. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and at least 5 years in a Generalist role, plus experience with multi-state payrolls and ADP Vantage.

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in HR Generalist role.
• Assisting with multi-state payrolls.
• Knowledge of HR laws & regulations.
• Proficiency with ADP Vantage is a plus.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Excellent MS Office skills.

Mansioni

• Handle semi-monthly multi-state payroll processing and reporting.
• Administer benefits programs (medical, dental, COBRA, 401(k)) and manage related compliance.
• Develop HR data reports and dashboards; maintain confidential records.
• Assist leadership in HR communications, training, and policy rollout.
• Respond to employee questions and escalate complex issues.
• Oversee in-house training system addressing wellness, safety, and training needs.
• Staffing, recruiting, interviews, references, and background checks.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding, policy explanations, and training data entry.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state employment laws.
• Support other HR duties, events, and audits as needed.
