Job summary

Nissin Ion Equipment USA, Inc. in Billerica, MA is seeking a part-time Human Resources Generalist. You will handle payroll duties, benefits administration, HR data reporting, onboarding/offboarding, and policy communications while partnering with the President and HR team.

Responsibilities include staffing, training development, and ensuring compliance with federal and state laws. Experience with ADP Vantage and Japanese business culture is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in HR Generalist role with payroll exposure.
• Experience processing multi-state payrolls advantageous.
• Knowledge of HR policies, laws, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-monthly multi-state payroll duties and data entry.
• Act as benefits administrator for medical, dental, COBRA, 401(k) and more.
• Develop HR data reports and maintain HR information systems.
• Support onboarding/offboarding and staff training initiatives.
• Assist in employee relations and policy communications.
• Coordinate staffing and recruitment for exempt and non-exempt roles.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws across states.
