Job summary

Broadway Cityview is seeking a part-time Cook to join our community culinary team. This role is hands-on, responsible for full-scope production cooking, and upholding high standards of quality and cleanliness in the Community Culinary Services Department.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a culinary degree is preferred, and at least one year of restaurant or senior living cooking experience. EEO Employer and patient-centered service are valued here.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant/senior living cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards.
• Produce and serve menu cycles and ensure dietary criteria as required by regulations.
• Maintain cooking speed, accuracy and efficiency.
• Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production.
• Assist with serving meals and ware washing as necessary.
• Visit residents to evaluate food service quality and adjust operations accordingly.
• Represent the community in a warm, inviting manner.
• Support driving occupancy and revenue through employee engagement.
