Job summary

Xanitos is hiring for Hospital Housekeepers at UMH Sparrow in Lansing, MI. These positions are part-time with multiple shifts, and include weekends and holidays. Pay is $14.84 per hour. Qualified candidates may receive an immediate job offer after the hiring event.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient areas and facilities across the health care campus, with daily duties such as cleaning rooms, lobbies, restrooms, floors, and restrooms, while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in the janitorial industry preferred.
• Medical cleaning experience a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork, windows, doors and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash to disposal area.
