Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. seeks a Full-Time Environmental Services Supervisor for 1st Shift at UMH Sparrow in Lansing, MI. The role involves supervising hospital EVS, ensuring clean, safe facilities, and training staff on standards and procedures.

The position runs 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with every other weekend/holiday. Candidates should have at least 1 year in janitorial/housekeeping and be able to meet job requirements including training and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in janitorial/housekeeping.
• COVID-19 vaccination as a term of employment where required.
• Post-offer medical, background screening and drug test required.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising the Environmental Services Department under the Director.
• Set and enforce work standards with the Department Director.
• Monitor inventory and equipment usage; train department staff.
• Provide guidance to staff and ensure a sanitary, attractive environment.
• Demonstrate Xanitos’ culture and management philosophy.
