Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring a Part-Time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeeper for 1st Shift at UMH Sparrow in Lansing, MI. Work hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm with every other weekend/holiday.

You will clean patient areas and common spaces on client premises to maintain a safe, hygienic healthcare environment. Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, restrooms, corridors, and equipment; replenishing supplies; and transporting small items.

Qualifications

• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-offer medical, background screening and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
