Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring Full-Time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for 2nd Shift at UMH Sparrow in Lansing, MI. The role involves maintaining clean, safe patient care areas on site with a 3:00pm–11:30pm schedule and a $2.05 shift differential.

Immediate offers for qualified candidates, includes every other weekend/holiday. Daily duties cover cleaning rooms, hallways, restrooms, and public areas; lifting up to 50 lbs.; and adhering to safety and sanitation standards across healthcare

Qualifications

Must have COVID-19 vaccination on offer of employment.
Experience in janitorial industry is a plus.
Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, etc.
Sweeps and vacuums floors; dusts furniture and equipment.
Polishes metalwork; washes walls, ceilings, and windows.
Empties wastebasket and transports trash to disposal area; replenishes bathroom supplies.
Transports small equipment between departments and supports cleaning operations.
